Her Story

I have found the one. The one person I have been waiting for my whole life, and the best part is that he was one of my dearest friends. Sometimes the best things in life are right before your eyes - too close perhaps, and it takes a little while to adjust your focus.
I met Reed over four years ago, when I showed up on his doorstep to try my hand at singing lead for his band. Our sons were friends, and we were both on a popular website. We had great fun and developed a lasting friendship.
Hindsight tells me that there was always something there, something special, something real...something different. Whatever the case, four years ago wasn't the right timing, and God decided I needed to sort out some life issues to prepare myself to be a better partner.
I am irrevocably, without doubt, in love with this man. He is everything I have ever wanted in a mate and more. I thank God everyday that he is a part of my life. He is my hero, my lover, my soulmate, and my best friend.

His Story
​
Even as a young child I had a yearning to find that intimate relationship that would help define who I am and what I would become. I had a sense that there was a missing part of myself to find out there and a great love story to live. Some dream of becoming experts in their fields or achieving fame or notoriety- or even wealth. I dreamed of finding my soulmate above all else.
The hard part was finding her and having patience. I couldn't make it happen by my sheer will or desire to find her- in fact, I got in my own way many times. As time went on I started to lose faith in my dream as more than a silly romantic notion.
Then Michelle came into my life.
We had met four years earlier and developed a close friendship but timing other relationships never allowed us to venture deeper. There was always something very special about her though and when she moved back to the area after being away for a time all the pieces fell in place.
She is my love and my life and all that I dared to dream for- and more. She is God's greatest blessing and promise kept. Never have I known such joy.
Once I asked my father how I would know when I found the right girl. He said "you'll just know". That brought me little comfort at the time but he was right. When you find the right one you know it deep in you soul. It resonates as truth on such a deep level that to question it seems ridiculous.
